Minsterstones long association with projects at the Wolfson College Campus in Oxford stretches back more than 20 years with various schemes undertaken within this period.
From the images you will witness a ‘semi retro’ style of architectural which has its roots in the 60’s where exposed concrete finishes were evident in a great many of the building still standing today
The two images highlight a student accommodation block which was completed some 15 years ago along with a more recent image which highlights the completion of the extension to the main reception and teaching facilities.
You will note from the photos the consistency in finishes notwithstanding the timeline of 15 years between the two buildings. In casting the units we were able to call on the same Cornish granite quarry to supply the aggregates and with the mix recipe remaining under our control a very consistent finish was exhibited on all the buildings.
